Christ is risen!  It is true He is risen!

We left Biserica Harul shortly after 9:00am with Brother Dan.  Brother Dan is currently a seminary student in Bucaresti and in past years has been one of our best translators.  We attended our first service at Biserica Betel in Faget then went to the home of the senior pastor for lunch.  At 4:00pm we attended a service in Sintesti and then returned to Faget for a 6:00pm service.  Brother Dan preached at all three services.

As part of the three testimonies that I shared today, I reminded the church that though the world says this is the day that we celebrate "Easter", we as believers should celebrate the resurrection of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ everyday and that we received that same resurrection power from Him.  When Dean introduced me in the last service, he talked about the ministry and work performed in pregnancy care centers (pcc).  After the service, a woman introduced herself and her daughter to me and said that she had adopted her daughter as the result of her birth mother choosing life after being counseled in a pcc.  We don't often have the opportunity to see a positive resolution in the pcc ministry so this was a tremendous blessing.

I did not know that we would be remaining in Faget for their evening service and obviously was unable to attend the drama and service at Biserica Harul.  I tried to reach someone so that they could notifty the young women that might show up from PC 3/4, but was unable to get through to anyone.  After the service, Betina (one of my translators) called to tell me that four young women had showed up and that they understood that I probably was unavailable.

On the way back home, Brother Dan offered to take us to his home for dinner where his mother had prepared miel and cartofi (lamb and mashed potatotes) and various other dishes and desserts.
