We were scheduled to depart Hartsfield Jackson airport at 12:47pm on Saturday, 6 March for Washingto DC on United Airlines.  From there we were going to fly into Vienna, Austria and then on to Timisoara, Romania arriving at 3:35pm Sunday, 7 March.  Our plane was delayed in Chicago due to mechanical difficulties and after numerous unsuccesfual attempts to reschedule we were eventually re-ticketed and rerouted to Vienna, Austria through Frankfurt, Germany via Lufthansa Airlines (the sole remaining flight to Europe that day) at 6:15pm... 5.5 hours later, the approximate time we would've been departing from Dulles for Vienna.  Aaron and Abbey received boarding passes all the way through, but Haley, Dorian and I were told we would be issued our boarding pass for Romania once we arrived in Vienna.

We had a good flight over the Big Pond; everyone slept, except for Haley; and the food wasn't too bad.  When the five of us finally arrived at Vienna International Airport Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm we went to the ticket counter and Dorian and Haley received their boading passes and I was told that I had been booked on the 1:55pm flight, despite the fact that my ticket and receipt stated 10:25pm, and that I had just missed it and couldn't be reticketed any earlier than 1:25pm Monday, 8 March.  No fault of my own considering I was still enroute from Frankfurt!  While I was working with the travel agent who was telling me that the flight was overbooked, Haley, our fearless team leader, got on the phone with Brother Chester in Atlanta, Georgia trying to work out a back-up plan and unbeknownst to me, Dorian knelt by the ticket counter and prayed, "God to reach into the computer and arrange a ticket".  Well I'm not sure who no longer has a confirmed reservation on that flight, but I have once again been reticketed and we are all scheduled to arrive in Timisoara at 12:40am Monday morning, but that's better than arriving at 3:35pm Monday afternoon.

Last Wednesday evening, Steve S. had asked me to put my itinerary online so that he could pray about that and I just plain ran out of time; however, I will add the return trip under the Prayer Reqeust tab!  We all met up at Hartsfield Jackson International Airport at 10:30am on Saturday and it is now 11:55am ET (5:55pm in Vienna) and we're still not at our final destination... but should've been.  All things considered though, we're handling these travel trials well and are at peace.

With all of the delays and changed flights, please pray that all of the luggage for each of us is at Timisoara airport when we go through customs.  It is entirely possible that mine is already there in Romania waiting for me to arrive.  LOL :)

UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS POST:  The delivery from BGEA did not arrive on Friday evening.  It should arrive at my office on Monday.  Hopefully Dean will be able to bring it with him in a few weeks.
