We are fearfully and wonderfully made

Didi and I are the directors of the 14+ years age group for VBS at Biserica Harul. Didi and I have had this age group for VBS the past two years, but that was during the month of June. We usually have about 35-40 students and most of them attend Biserica Harul. But many of those young people are out of town for vacation. Today, all of our students came from the placement center in the nearby village... 21 in all and they range in age from 14 years to 22+ years.
Some of the young people at the placement centers have local foster families who will keep them for short periods of time, they may have foster parents from Denmark that came to Romania during the holiday and they are visiting with them in a hotel in Lugoj, or they may even have parents that visit with them on holidays and weekends. The ones remaining at the placement centers over this past weekend and this week don't have any place to go.
Dean, Didi and I went to the nearby placement center this afternoon. I was able to have an extended conversation with the young lady there that I've been talking to over the past four years. Didi had an opportunity to renew old friendships and pursue new ones.
Tonight we attend the Youth Meeting at Biserica Harul. It started off with their praise team singing a few songs. Brother Dan shared a message then our praise team sang a few songs. Brother Chester then spoke about how everyone has a personal testimony and what that meant. Four of the young women and 2 young men from PC 3/4 walked to the church to attedn the Youth Meeting this evening. After the service, Dean and Tom walked the six of them back home.
